LAunakalana cattle estates

Cattles transported across the Bismark Sea out of the Huon Peninsula in Morobe into the Central Province Coastlines into the Launakalana Estates in Keapara, Central Province in fulfilment of the Government of Papua New Guinea’s Millenium Term Development Plan IV Directive to Restocking and Breeding of Livestock.
“Bad weather may have been a major determent for at least a week, causing delay in the shipment of cattle from Morobe, bound for Central’s Launakalana estate, but it sure won’t be an issue now as Livestock Development Corporation staff with the crew from MV LSY1 set sail with more than 100 cattle on board.
With 56 cattle from Sialum cattle ranch, the barge was loaded with an additional 108 cattle from the Erap on sail for Keapara Village and on to Launakalana estate, Central. This journey marks the second shipment of cattle to Launakalana for the purpose of restocking and breeding.
